The Ghost That Haunted the Village (by Zeeshan)

One dark and stormy night, Ali and his family were telling stories of ghosts. It was very scary. They were all horrified. Ali lived in a hut in a village. After they went to bed, Ali was awakened by a strange cry. He saw a shadow outside the hut and decided to go out side to check. Beside another hut, he saw a young woman weeping. He went over to her and touched her, but Ali's hand went inside her body. Ali ran back to the hut, and could not sleep for the whole night.

The next day he told the village about what happened. All of them did not believe him. Ali was very scared but tried not to be. Ali then went to play with his friends, but while he was playing, he saw a shadow just standing there and watching. Ali went back to his hut and tried to go to sleep. But he was again awakened by the noise, so he went outside and this time tried asking questions. She did not reply. But she said her name was Aliah.

Ali went back to the hut. Even though Ali's family was rich they still lived in a hut. Ali's father got him a computer, so he decided to do some research on the village. And he found out that before there was a village there was a war in this place so he showed it to the whole village. Everybody started to believe him now. At night some people stayed awake to check and see if she would return, and she did. They got the leader of the village to talk to her. She replied and suddenly said that she was his great-grandmother and that his great-grandfather passed away in the war. He died at the exact same spot which was right under the hut in front of her. The leaders name was syafiq and he was very shocked to hear it.

He was also very happy to see his great-grandmother, even in spirit form. Tears came out from his eyes. He was filled with joy. The ghost would now appear every night and Syafiq would come out to talk to her at night. They were very happy when they talked to each other. Ali slept peacefully since then. Syafiq, Ali and the village were very happy since then.
