The Hilarious Rat (by Nur Syahirah)

Congo Hardbush was a name of a rat which was hilarious. He was kind of cute, game-minded and playful. But most of all is that, he almost made everyone laughed! Telling people jokes were one of his hobbies. Especially he loved to play with his best friend, Rocky Eversprightly. Rocky was a human which has almost the same attitude as Congo! They both were related to each other.

One afternoon after school, Rocky took out Congo without telling anybody that he brought Congo to school and not even his close friend, Douglas. While he was talking to Congo in the school's back yard, he did not realized that the meanest boy in class, Mervin, was watching behind him and was trying to sneak out about what is Rocky trying to do. When Mervin saw that he was talking to a rat, he immediately went to Rocky and punched him at his cheeks. Rocky fell in pain and while doing that he shouted, "Ouch! That really hurts!" Congo interrupted by telling him a joke," Hey, what do you call a person who is fat? The answer is A FATTY BOM! Perfect! Because it is the same like you! Hehe……….". Being too frustrated, Mervin chased after Congo while Rocky tried to stand up. But, when he turned around, the both of them were rushing towards him and CRASH!. Rocky was thrown to the rock climbing wall which was at the other side of the school.

When Congo was merrily running here and there, he suddenly tripped over a rock and hit his face."OUCHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my, what type of name that belonged to a rat which is as clumsy as me? Oh, I know! Clumserat!!! Hehe……"joked Congo himself after being hit by a rock. Without hesitation, he got up and started running again. He felt as if he had freedom in his life. While running, Congo had an idea and quickly hid behind a big, fat and heavy rock. He looked at Mervin who was trying to find him with the look of disappointment on his face. Congo was really delighted as he was safed from that big, fat and mean boy. But not long after, Mervin found Congo hiding behind a rock. He started to chase Congo again. " Ouch!!!" Congo suddenly heard a small voice shouting. When he turned around, he saw that Mervin was in pain as he accidentally tripped over the same rock which Congo tripped on a few moments ago. Blood was bleeding out of his head. It looked so scary. Luckily, a teacher passed by and saw what had happened.

The teacher brought Mervin to the general office and bandaged his head. He would not be going to school for a few weeks as the cut on his head was really bad. " Well, serve you right!" teased Congo as he whispered into Mervin's ear. Rocky Everspightly and Congo Hardbush tapped each other's hand and laughed as they left the general office and headed back home.
