Fun-A-Fair Going On

All Saturday, Hussein and Aisha were so excited they could think or talk of nothing else. Their parents had promised to take them to the funfair. Their parents had promised them to take them to the funfair because they got 100 MARKS for their exam. their mother said:'the funfair will be going to be at Saturday'.

After five days, Hussein and Aisha wanted to go there to the funfair early in the morning but their parents was still sleeping. They decided to take a shower first. Then, their parents wake up at nine o'clock. Hussein and Aisha went there after their parents had shower. Five minutes gone. They reach at their own school. They found out that there are games , foods, drinks and more. They decided to play the games first. They play and play until they got tired.

'Everybody, thank you for coming, the funfair will be closed now', the principle said. Hussein and Aisha were so excited until they wished to come again.

> ''Yay!''there is a running competition today'' ''Ben shouted. He has been training for months. He was excited. There are different sports to participate but Ben prefers running because he is good at it.

Just then two big guys started asking him to challenge running with them.So, he accepted the challenge.''1, 2, 3 and go' one of the big guys shouted. They started running.Then, ben lose. The big guys won. Ben was disappointed.

> He thought he cannot win the competition. The big guys teased him and make him angry. Ben just ignore them and continues with his practice. Just then, an announcement said' the running competition will be postponed till next week. Ben was so relieved that he still has time to practice. He kept continue to run around the stadium.Suddenly; he realized that he has run 4 rounds at the stadium.

Sometimes words that are usually nouns can function as adjectives. This happens when the “noun” is used to define a noun. Underline the adjective in each sentence that is often a noun. The first one is done for you.

All Saturday, Hussein and Aisha were so excited they could think and talk of nothing else. Their parents had promised to take them to the funfair!

On the next day, they went to the funfair by bus. There were game stalls everywhere. The funfair was filled with many people. Hussein and Aisha decided to ride the roller coaster first. They rode on the roller coaster so much until Hussein vomited. They decided to have a break for they were so hungry. Their father went to the food stall to buy some curry puffs." That was scrumptious," exclaimed Aisha.Next, they went to the haunted house. It was so scary until Aisha almost screamed her head off.

She screamed and screamed until the person who scared her ran away from her! " Ah!" The person shouted. Their father bought her a candyfloss to calm her down. They decided to go home because the funfair was closing. When they reached home, their mother and father were so tired until they were asleep. As for Hussein and Aisha, they did not enjoy much of the funfair.

"GRRR!" The thunder sounded. Suddenly it was raining cats and dogs . They looked at the opposite block and saw the funfair was close. They grumble with sadness.

Their parents decided that they would bring them to the "ARCADE". They were so excited Mr. Ahmad brought Hussein to the car park and quickly drove to fetch Mrs. Amadlina and Aisha.

When they was at there they change their $25 into tokens and played a lot of games like BOMBERMAN and went into the HUNTED HOUSE. In the end they felt happy eventhough they didn't go the funfair.

When they got in they waited until they arrived at the train station then they got on.As they were riding on the train they were discussing what to play at the funfair.Then they would go on the dunking machine.

As they reached the funfair they saw lots of games to play they even saw their favorite game.First they went to eat first and then they went to the dunking machine and then they ride the roller coaster.But suddenly they got lost in the middle of the funfair.

But luckily there was a customer service.They quickly called out their parent's name . And then they were relieved to be together.

All Saturday, Hussein and Aisha were so excited they could think and talk of nothing else. Their parents had promised to take them to the funfair! The funfair was at the Botanical Garden. It was a very decent place.

All of a sudden, the inflatable that Hussein and Aisha were playing on went out of air. The children on the inflatable got a shock because they were falling from about thirty meters high with the huge inflatable that they were playing on.

The manager also got a shock to see the children falling with the inflatable. He called for some workers to come and help to pump back the air again and give the children free ice cream because they did not do their duty to look after the inflatable.

The children were very happy that they got a free ice cream and they did not get injured.

ONE SATURDAY MORNING, Hussein and Aisha were so excited they could think of nothing else. Their parents had promised to take them to the funfair.

When they arrived, they saw lots of people at the game stalls and they decided to try one game. At one of the game stalls, Hussein saw her friend Ann and they play at the funfair together.

In the afternoon, Hussein and aisha's parents had gone home, before they left, they passed the rest of their ticket to them. They were very happy because they can spent all the ticket by themselves and they can buy whatever they want.

After their parents left, they bought lots of food and toys, but they can't finish all that food all by themselves. After that, they were too tired to play or eat and they sat beside a tree. "Look! We still have half bag of food left!" Ann exclaimed. They tried to give some of the food to other people, but nobody wanted the food as they were leaving.

In the end, all three of them took a little food from the bag and bring them home. After the funfair, they learnt that do not buy the things that you need and do not buy too much.

When they are in Fort Canning Green fun fair, Hussein wants to play the ping pong games. At last, Hussein won the first prize and it was a very big teddy bear. His sister also wants the big teddy bear, so she keep trying but she still can't get the teddy bear.

After that,Aisha cried. So , Aisha and Hussein's parents help Aisha to get that teddy bear. At last, their parents go them a dolphin . Aisha smiled. Aisha stop crying and said " thank you " to her parents.

When it was at night , they went home. They have a happy sleeping .

So, they told everyone to work together and fix the games things. Everyone listen to them and work together. Everyone was happy and they have fun.

Around 11.00 a.m,they got out of the house to go to the funfair. But along the highway, there was a heavy traffic jam. It was so terrible that it ended at 12.35 p.m. But, they still manage to reach there. Once they reached, Hussein and Aisha quickly took out the car's seat belt and ran out to see the view of the funfair. They said that they were so excited as they cannot wait to explore the funfair.

Hussein decided to play the Viking which an enormous boat is there an it will swing from front to the back like a rocking chair just that it is much more scarier. Aisha had decided to go into the Haunted House.

When the Viking had started to move very fast, Hussein became even more scared and frightened. He was born with asthma which he cannot take something that may cause him not to breath properly and, it was Aisha's turn to go inside the Haunted house. Actually, Aisha is afraid of the dark but just that she acted as if she was not afraid of it.

One hour and forty-five minutes had past by.It was time for them to end their games. When
Hussein came down from the Viking, he was breathless. Luckily, he brought his inhaler and quickly took it out. He was feeling a bit better now. The problem was that, Aisha was crying because of the darkness inside the Haunted House and the 'fake' ghosts, skeletons and coffins were scarying her.

After her parents and Hussein had persuaded her, she felt much more better and on the way home, they went to MacDonald's and ate there. Hussein and Aisha together expressed their feelings to their parents and told them that they were so pleased that they had brought them there although some problems had seemed to happened.

That night, Aisha wrote in her diary about where she had been to and what had happened there. Both Hussein and Aisha wished that they could go to that funfair again.

Situational Writing 2 (by Syafiq)

One Saturday, sounds of excitement are heard at Hussein's four-storey high semi-detached house. Hussein and Aisha were excited because they were going to the Fun-a-fair at TKPS!

They were so happy that they kept talking about the Fun-a-fair. They were lucky because Hussein paid $3,000 for six hundred tickets. Before they set off to Telok Kurau Primary, the make sure that they have brought the tickets. Then, they started up the engine of the nine-seater, Hybrid, MPV Mercedes Benz Viano Sport. It was a one-and-a-half hour ride.

They felt even more excited whenever the car overtook a car.
Finally, when they reached there at 0930 hours, the y immediately went to the inflatables and bounced up and down at the inflatable castle. Then, they went to the "Soccer Shootout" at the Basketball Court. Since Hussein was a professional soccer player, he was good at scoring goals easily. Finally, Hussein's team won 7-1 by Aisha's team. They ate cup noodles and said that it was delicious. They felt happy about the games.

On their way to visit their cousins' place, they still kept talking about the Fun-a-fair. Then they joked around all the way until they reached Choa Chu Kang and told them about the funfair.

The Ring ( by Aiman )

One early morning, I woke up and took a quick breakfast at a roti prata stall. After my breakfast, I went for a walk. While walking I decided to watch a movie called 'The Ring'. I took a bus to the cinema. The movie started at 1..00 pm and lasted for about three hours. The movie was great. I like the part when they were fighting for the Ring. In the evening, I went for a walk at the beach with my brother. While walking barefooted, I felt I stepped on something. I took a look at it and found that it was a ring. I picked it up. It was dirty so I decided to bring it home. When I reached home, I cleaned the ring and noticed that the ring looked extraordinary. It has the shape of a mountain. I kept it in my drawer before going to sleep. The next morning, after taking a shower, I took the ring I found the day before, from the drawer. I put the ring on my finger and started reading a book. About fifteen minutes later, suddenly I felt and saw something came out of the ring – a smoke. I also felt a funny kind of feelings happening to my body. Suddenly I heard some eerie sounds which I have no idea where it came from. I looked around but did not see anything around. I am so scared. I decided to take out the ring but could not. What has happened to me? I asked myself. I called my best friend Tom and told him to come over to my house. When Tom reached my house, I told him about the ring and what has happened. We took a close look at the ring and saw a tiny button. I pressed the button and a map in the form of laser came out and it says, "If you put on the ring for more than fifteen minutes, it will be stuck there forever! The only way to take it off your finger is to drink the ring's antidote. The antidote could only be found in a cave near a mountain called Mount Kiasu. Look for a red bottle and drink its content." I was shocked. I tried to take out the ring from my finger but failed to do so. Tom and I decided that we must look for the antidote. I told my mother that I wanted to go cycling with Tom. We quickly went to the mountain mentioned and looked for the cave. Once we saw a cave, we went in and looked for the red bottle. We searched every corner of the cave. Finally Tom found a red bottle hidden at one corner of the cave. Without wasting time, I drank the water in the bottle. Amazingly, the ring dropped off my finger by itself. We looked at each other and decided to leave the place immediately. We quickly went to our bicycles which we parked at the foot of the mountain. We left the place without looking back.

Their parent was so worried about them and they cannot look for them but they did tried and tried again and then they remember that they said to their parent and to find them at where they start. At last they find them.

At about two p.m., their father drove them there. They were so happy. They decided to ride the roller coaster first. They went to get their tickets and joined the queue. When it was their turn they got on and buckled up. The roller coaster started moving and suddenly the roller coaster stopped moving.

The person in charge took out his hand phone and called the fire department. In a few minutes they came and got their ladder ready. One by one they all came down mostly with sad faces.

But Hussein and Aisha came down looking very happy. Their father asked them why and they said they were happy because they still came. The fun fair had to close for repairs. But would open two months later.

Two Best Friend (by Ong Jing Yi)

One sunny day, when my teacher tells us to take out our book my forgetful friend forgot to take to school. Then she tells the teacher about it. When the teacher hears about it she was very angry because my friend sally forgot to bring her book. My teacher scolds her.

When it was afternoon I and sally go to see the cca board. We see that there are no cca. Sally said she want to go my house because my mother is not at home so I said she can go my house. So we go to my house. Sally was very happy.

When we got home we talk about what happen at school sally said she was very sad. After saying we play many thing, computer, Ds,…When it was five o’clock sally must go home. When she got home she call me. She said tomorrow she can come.



The next morning went my teacher tell us to take out our math books Sally forgot to take to school again but this time her teacher never scold her. She tell sally that her mother call to tell my teacher that she forgot to take her book to school and she bring it to school.



When it was go home time sally and me saw a women calling sally. Sally tell me to go home and later she will come so I go home. Sally call me and tell me she could not come. I wonder why she could not come.

The next day I ask sally why she could not come. She say her mother don't let her come. I ask who is your mother she said yesterday that women is my mother she said yesterday that women is my mother. I am glad you tell me she say it nothing we are best friend.

An Accident In The Park-Nasrullah

An Accident In The Park

Nashruddin, Mohd Aman and Aini were playing in the park one fine afternoon. It was very hot and they were all perspiring profusely but they continued playing in the park. Aini decided to rest under the shade of a tree for a while.

After that Aini was out of sight. The boys did not notice this and they began to play basketball. She came back later with her friend, Kartini. She was actually taking the keys to her friend's bicycle. Then she sat on her friend's bicycle. They were cycling around happily when they heard a horrible scream.

A boy had knocked his head on a wall while he was cycling and was badly injured. His head was bleeding. Mohd Aman and Nashruddin were very near the scene of the accident and immediately went to help him. They could see the flesh of his head where his skull had cracked. Blood was oozing out from the back of his head. He was yelling for his mother and father who should have been nearby. It seemed that he was speeding and not wearing a helmet.

A lot of people tried to help him. His parents finally came and called the ambulance. Nashruddin, Mohd Aman, Aini and Kartini were discussing what had happened when the paramedics arrived and sent the injured boy to the hospital. Everyone was shocked that such an ugly accident had happened.

Nashruddin and his friends had learnt an important lesson. They made sure they put on their safety helmets whenever they went cycling or rollerblading.

The Ghost That Haunted the Village (by Zeeshan)

One dark and stormy night, Ali and his family were telling stories of ghosts. It was very scary. They were all horrified. Ali lived in a hut in a village. After they went to bed, Ali was awakened by a strange cry. He saw a shadow outside the hut and decided to go out side to check. Beside another hut, he saw a young woman weeping. He went over to her and touched her, but Ali's hand went inside her body. Ali ran back to the hut, and could not sleep for the whole night.

The next day he told the village about what happened. All of them did not believe him. Ali was very scared but tried not to be. Ali then went to play with his friends, but while he was playing, he saw a shadow just standing there and watching. Ali went back to his hut and tried to go to sleep. But he was again awakened by the noise, so he went outside and this time tried asking questions. She did not reply. But she said her name was Aliah.

Ali went back to the hut. Even though Ali's family was rich they still lived in a hut. Ali's father got him a computer, so he decided to do some research on the village. And he found out that before there was a village there was a war in this place so he showed it to the whole village. Everybody started to believe him now. At night some people stayed awake to check and see if she would return, and she did. They got the leader of the village to talk to her. She replied and suddenly said that she was his great-grandmother and that his great-grandfather passed away in the war. He died at the exact same spot which was right under the hut in front of her. The leaders name was syafiq and he was very shocked to hear it.

He was also very happy to see his great-grandmother, even in spirit form. Tears came out from his eyes. He was filled with joy. The ghost would now appear every night and Syafiq would come out to talk to her at night. They were very happy when they talked to each other. Ali slept peacefully since then. Syafiq, Ali and the village were very happy since then.

A Genuine Mistake (By Nur Nabilah)

It was a normal day in October and I was going for recess. As I was walking down the staircase from the third level, something weird happened.

I did not know what it was so I continued to walk down the stairs. Then I entered the school’s canteen area. Suddenly I felt something weird happening but I just did not know what it was, so I went to queue to buy some food to eat as I had not eaten breakfast in the morning.

Then I tried to find my friends but I could not find them, therefore I find myself a place to sit as I thought they were still buying their food. The only people I saw were the non-Muslims pupils and some teachers.

When it was towards the end of recess, I went to the quadrangle to queue because I did not want to be sitting in hot sun as it always reminded me of the punishment my teacher had done to the class and it was horrible!
“Kriiiii…..ng” suddenly the bell to indicate that recess had ended sounded. Many pupils were running towards the quadrangle and could almost smell how smelly it was at the back of the line then. My teacher used the loud hailer to inform everyone to settle down quickly as a few of my of my classmate were very slow and always like to chat as they went into the queue. I was trying to ask my friends where they were during recess but they could not answer my question because a teacher told me to keep quiet and then my friends started to giggle. They were very happy that I received a scolding.

When I was in class, I wrote a note to my friend because I did not want to distract the teacher’s attention. I asked my friend where they were during recess and they said they were in the library because it was the first day of the fasting month. I was embarrassed because I had forgotten it was the first day of the fasting month.

A Greatful Boy (by ken lim)

Last Sunday morning, the MRT station was very crowded. Everyone was waiting for the train on the platform of the station. When the train arrived, everyone rushed into the train.

As it was too crowed, the train driver made an announcement to ask the passengers to wait for another train. One of the men said:" please co-operate. “Some of them had to go out and wait for another trained to arrive. A boy named Tom saw a present beside a seat. He quickly rushed to the control station and told one of the people to report that someone had left a present beside a seat.

Then one boy name called Ahmad went to the control station and he informed the control station's officer.

The control station's officer was very grateful to Tom and Ahmad for being a grateful boy.

Tommy's First Gift (Writen by Aiman)

TOMMY'S FIRST GIFT Once, there was a boy named Tommy. He had never received a gift from anyone before. This makes him upset as he longed to get a gift, a small one at least, from someone, especially on his birthday. He prayed hard every day. On 14th May 2008, that is Tommy's birthday, he went to school feeling sad. He knows that his birthday be just any other day, nothing special will come to him. He cried on his way to school. On 14th May 2008, Tommy forgets that it is his birthday as he never receives a gift or wish from someone before. He does not want to remember his birthday anymore because he felt his birthday is just like any other day, nothing special ever come to him. Tommy went to school with sad feeling. He cried on his way to school. When he reached his school, his best friend John noticed his sad face. John asked Tommy why is he sad. Tommy told John why. In class, Tommy could not concentrate on his studies. He remained quiet in class. His teacher named Ms Safiah noticed that Tommy is not as cheerful as before. Knowing John is Tommy's best friend, she asked John. John told her. Ms Safiah had an idea. During recess, Tommy has no appetite to eat or play with his friends. He just drank some water. After recess, when everyone is back in class, Ms Safiah call Tommy to come in front of the class.. Tommy thought he has made a mistake. Suddenly Ms Safiah took out a present from her bag and gave to Tommy. She asked all students in the class to sing birthday song for Tommy. What a surprise for Tommy. Tommy was so happy that he thanked Ms Safiah and all his classmates. Tommy went home feeling happy. When he reached home, another surprise came. His mother has ordered pizza from Canadian Pizza specially for his birthday. Wow, Tommy's happiness doubled this year. His prayer was heared. The End

The Murder ( written by Juzar.M.Heera)

One day, a famous detective of Singapore, Martin, was solving a murder case. The person murdered was actually his friend Kelvin. Kelvin was only twenty years old.

When Martin arrived at Kelvin's house, he saw that Kelvin lying on the floor with a knife poked into his chest. He turned Kelvin and saw that the knife was sticking out from behind. Martin declared Kelvin dead. Martin also fond out that Kelvin was only facing his head upwards to the wall. Martin looked upwards to the wall to see what was so special.

To his shock, Martin saw a sentence written with blood. The sentence was, “No one is able to save Kelvin now. Ha! Ha! Ha! My worst enemy is now dead.”

Suddenly, Martin saw more words appearing. The words made a paragraph. It was the most scariest and shocking case of his life but he still had to complete it.

After a few hours, he found that the words were appearing with the help of a projector hidden under the sofa. Martin was glad that it was not a ghost.

Now the last step was to find the murderer. Martin became very anxious to find the person who had murdered Kelvin.

As Martin was walking home, he noticed somebody following him. Martin quickly ran to his house and rushed to his room.

While the person was following Martin home, another famous detective of Singapore, Tommy, saw them. He also tried to follow them.

After a few minutes, Tommy saw Martin go into his house and the person following Martin go to the back of Martin’s house. Tommy followed Martin to his room but Martin was still not aware of Tommy.

A few minutes later, Tommy heard a sound of a bullet being shot. Tommy dashed inside and saw Martin dead on the floor and the murderer still at the window.

Tommy shot the murderer. The murderer fell out of the window and landed in the car park. That was the end of the murderer and the mystery.

Haunting George (By Nur Diyanah)

A beautiful bride ran away from the church. She did not want to marry the prime minister’s son because he has an affair. The bride loved Christian, a poet. The bride always bought and read his poetries. The bride ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She tripped on a pebble and knocked her head on a rock. The bride was dead.

Amanda, the bride, was buried in her grave. George, the groom read Amanda’s diary. He dropped the diary. He was full of rage when he knew Amanda loved Christian. He asked Amanda’s relatives if they knew where Christian lived. Amanda’s sister told him where Christian lived.

That night, George went to Christian’s house carrying a gun. He knocked down the door and searched the house for Christian. Christian was in his bedroom writing a new poem. George took out his gun with devilry dancing in his blood and shot Christian at the back of his head. He died instantly.

Five years later, George got married with his girlfriend, Maria. Nobody knew who killed Christian. His relatives and friends believed Christian killed himself when he heard Amanda died. George and Maria were happy that they finally got married. They thought they could live happily ever after but they did not.

There was once when George hugged Maria from the back without looking at her face. When he looked up the mirror, he saw Amanda’s face! He screamed and let go of Maria. Maria asked him what the matter was. He shooked his head. Maria gave him a glass of water to calm him down. He lay on the king-sized bedroom, pulled the blanket to his chin, and closed his eyes. By midnight, George had a nightmare. He dreamt that he was in the graveyard beside Christian’s grave. He saw Amanda touching the grave and crying. She looked up at George. “Why did you do this? Why?” cried Amanda. George then woke up and looked at the clock. He was sweating so he gave the blanket to Maria so he could cool himself.

The next day, George ate his breakfast prepared by Maria. He finished his breakfast, kissed Maria on her cheek, and waved goodbye. As he was driving to work, he checked the mirror to see anything behind him. When he looked at the mirror, he saw Amanda behind him! He quickly stopped the car and looked at the back of his car but no one was there. He quickly drove himself to work.

That night, as Maria was brushing her hair, she noticed someone touching her shoulder behind her. She ignored and continued to brush her hair. Then, when she looked at the mirror, she saw Amanda’s face. She screamed out loud and reached for her phone. She called George and told him everything. He rushed home to check on Maria. “Are you okay?” asked George. Maria nodded her head. She was still in the state of shock. George knew Amanda’s spirit did this.

The next day, George went to the police station. He surrendered himself because he did not want Amanda to haunt Maria. He confessed that he had killed Christian. Christian’s relatives and the Prime Minister were shocked to hear George had killed Christian. George was sentenced to life imprisonment. That night, Amanda appeared in George’s dream. This time, she was smiling.

The archer and the warrior who killed the darkness giant(by satria)

Once there was a hero called Freddy he loved to fight at the age of 15 but he didn't fight with his classmates or the students/teachers he punched here and there he punched the door the book but not his friends and the student and every when he just punched once...his friends will ask him who are you punching?''He especially loved to play water guns he will shoot here and there he even shoot walls and made them wet! He wanted to be a great hero soon. He always said I will need to wait patiently.

At the age of 23 he really forgotten about his friends and his favourite hobbies especially training his fighting so he would become a warrior then he quickly went for training with his classmates (new) and he was training his basketball it was his first time playing basketball and his friends would cheer for him as it was his first time and he also loved playing sports such as soccer.

Then his memory about his fighting came back slowly and soon he would just train his skills when he was bored then the Light warriors came to make Freddy a Light archer he accepted but he wanted to be a warrior and he asked The light master and the Light master said you could be the warrior I have seen your skills of fighting he said to Freddy but where can I get the Archer? Freddy replied I know who can be the light Archer, my friend!

Then the light master accepted his friend and they went for the revenge of the darkness giant who would bring darkness to the world. They accepted the fight and went with the remaining light warriors they went to the world of darkness and the fight begun.....Freddy and his friend went to kill the giant while the remaining light warriors fight the dark soldiers in the end the giant was dead and only Freddy, his friend and 3 light soldiers remained.

Woof! Bryan's dog barked at the two burglars who had broked into Bryan's house and woke Bryan and his parents up. The burglars took their sack and ran away when Bryan's parents saw them. When they checked the rooms, nothing was stolen. So they clear up the mess the burglars made and went back to sleep.

Bryan thought about how the burglars had broked into their house and he soon fell asleep. He found himself in a deserted house with lots of skeleton.

There was once a very old man. He was fortunate that he had a very good business and a young and The old man and he walked away beautiful wife. His business went well and his wife loved him very much. My granduncle was curious how an old man could be so fortunate. He wondered all day long.

The next day, my granduncle, Pak Zainal, asked the old man the secret to be fortunate. Come on. I want to be fortunate too, begged Pak Zainal. His two friends, Pak Mat and Pak Din, repeated what he said. It's nothing, replied the old man and he walked away.

The next day, Pak Zainal and his two friends asked the old man the same thing again and again but he ignored. The same thing happened the next day. Pak Zainal and his two friends kept repeating the same question again and again. The old man was fed-up with their annoying behavior. He finally told them the secret. Tonight go to the graveyard with a pail of boiled prawns at midnight and wait," said the old man. That was all he said.

That midnight, the three men went to the graveyard carrying a pail of boiled prawns. They shouted out. " Boiled prawns, boiled prawns!"shouted the three men in the middle of the graveyard. All of a sudden, the graves started to crack open. Hands started coming out of the graves. The three men turned white when they saw corpes coming out of the graves They quickly ran out the graveyard.

The real secret is to stay in the graveyard when the corpes are coming out. Then, the Queen of Darkness will come. You should trade the boiled prawns with your wishes. The queen will definitely take your prawns and grant your wishes. That explained why the old man lead a rich life with a young and beautiful wife. This is supposed to be a true story.

The Grave House (By Lee Kia Wee)

It was a stormy night. The thunder crashed and lightning roared. I was left alone at home watching some television shows while waiting for my parents to come back from work.Suddenly, I heard someone playing with my toy drum. I dashed down to see who that was. When I got down, I saw nobody but my drum and drumsticks lying on the floor. I picked them up and put them back to my music box.

Then I saw a small girl standing outside my window with its mouth sealed. I was shocked to see that. I closed my eye and counted to ten. When I opened my eyes, the girl disappeared. I ran into my room and locked the door.

Suddenly, I heard someone knocking on the door. I thought that it was my parents but it was not. When I went down and opened the door, I was shocked to see that it was a woman with blood all around her face. She came in, sat on my sofa, turned on the TV, and watched. I closed my eyes and wished that she would be gone. I dashed into the room and locked the door.

Soon my father and mother came back home. I told them what happened and they said that before this house was built, it was a graveyard.We decided to leave the spirit alone in the house.

The Boy That is Always Late For School (yuehean)

One fine night, a boy that always Sleep At night and always be late for school, Called Peter. When he came back from school, He would immediately on the computer and the television. He played and watched till 12 o'clock and the school always start lessons at 7.15

The next day, It was 7.10 and Peter had not even eaten his breakfast! But when he just went out of his house, It was already 7.15! He was late again.Diiinnnggg, Dooonnnggg, Diiinnnggg, Dooonnnggg. The teacher had started the lesson but Peter was still walking to school!

When it was almost recess, Peter had just reached the school. The teacher had scolded him for almost 30mins and punished him that he was not going for recess for 3 weeks. He was not happy, so he was trying to sleep at 11o'clock from then onwards and he was sorry for coming late to school and could not go recess for 3 weeks. Everyday, when he came back from school, he would ask his mother to cook more rice for 3 weeks.

His mother was surprised that why he ate more rice. He told his mother that he was late for school so that his teacher had banned him from going to recess.

One special ring (By Ken Lim)

One bright sunny day, Tommy decided to go to china for a holiday. He asked his mother first. Then his mothers agree because he passes his test paper. After he asked, his father bought him to the airport. He went to the counter to buy the ticked with his passport. Tommy decided to buy seven o’clock ticket in the night. He went to the shop and he brought some tidbits. After buying, he went into the airplane.

When he reached China, he called his parent that he had arrived. He went to the hotel that he had booked. He went in and he packed his thing neatly. One day, China had a war. Tommy quickly rushed out of the hotel and he rushed to a cave. Suddenly, he found a ring. He wears it. After he wears it, a god appears. Tommy had a shock. The god told Tommy about the ring. The god explained to Tommy how to use it. When he knows how to use it, he quickly wants back to the hotel and he tried to use it. “It really works” said Tommy. He keeps using that way and the wars ends. He had saved all the people in China and everyone was very glad of him.

He went back to the cave and returns the ring back to the god. He was very glad that he could use the ring to save all the peoples again.

The noisy family (Nur Irsyad 4 Honesty)

The night was still. Everyone in the flat was sleeping quietly. Even the cats and dogs were sleeping. Suddenly, crash! the vase in Madam Tan’s house broke. My brother was sleep walking around the house. Everyone woke up. The cats and dogs began fighting again.

There was no peace and quiet. My mother was scolding and shouting at my sickening brother. My father scold my mother, my sister tried to pick up but ended up hurt. What a mess it was! I just watch them fighting.

The next morning, neighbours and some people in the flat complained to the police about the noises. My family received a verbal warning from the police. At night, the night was still again. Suddenly, “Ahh!!” my sister screamed. A cockroach crawled up her mouth. Everyone woke up. I went to her room to check out what had happened. I told her it’s ok.

The next morning, the police came to my house and explained to my family that the neighbours wanted some sleep. At night, the night was noisy, “Hey shut up!” yelled Yanti to her mother. This time it was not my family. It was my neighbour. They were very noisy. My family was so furious. They now know what it is like to be noisy.

They regretted their action.

One hot and sunny afternoon, Mark and five of his friends went to play football in the football court near his house.It is a three on three match.

When their school football coach walked by and saw that Mark and his friends were playing very well so he asked them to join the school football team, the Snow Kids.They all agreed. They train very hard for the coming football match.The match is Snow Kids VS The Red Lions.That day had came and they play very hard during the first half. At half time the it is 5-5 and the coach said” Keep it up and give it all you got”.At the match the Red Lions kick in one goal.Then,the Snow kids kick the ball in goal by that time there only have one more minutes.At the last 30 minutes Mark fell and hurt his leg after he kick the ball.The coach bring Mark to the nearest clinic and when he wake up he saw a big trophy on the table beside the bed.So Mark ask the coach what happened the coach said that Mark kick in the goal,than the player from the Red Lion push Mark and he hurt his leg and head.

They are very happy but the doctor said Mark cannot walk for 3 weeks.

The Coachman Who Could Paint Very Well (By Mah Yong Xuan)

John was a coachman who worked in the palace. He can paint and had a great talent for art. John’s paintings were very fine and they seemed alive.

The one John liked the most was his portrait of Jane. Jane was his sister who he was very fond of since he was young. He kept that very special portrait in his room in the palace stables. When John was happy or sad, he talked to the picture and sometime he felt that his sister really did reply.

All this talking made the other servants so curious that they spied on him through the keyhole. The only thing they could see was a face on the painting, which they mistook for the face of a real young lady.

Very soon, people were talking about the young lady whom John had hidden in his room. Finally, even the prince heard the servants in the palace saying about the lady who asked them where is she and went to peep through the keyhole.

When his eyes fell on Jane’s face, he fell in love with her at that moment. When he knew that the lady really exists, John was asked by the prince personally to bring his sister to the palace.

After seeing her, the prince married her on the day they met. Jane became the princess and as for John, he was able to spend all his time painting instead of being a coachman.

In the 20^th century, Singapore was one of the poorest country. In the year 1965, Singapore reached independence. The true story is beginning…

9^th August 1965. Singapore reached independence. That same month, the Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew (Now Minister Mentor) decided that he wanted Singapore to be a modern country. Then, elections were held. Majority said that they wanted Singapore a fresh, new, energized country. They wanted a fresh new one because of their frail economy.

Constructions began in the year 1967. They need to do phase by phase due to lack of money in the parliament. In the 1980s, conditions improved drastically. Improved transportations, conditions and much more. Then, surprise came for the people. In the 21^st Century, everything was a BANG!

Everything in Singapore was changed. Even technology changed! From big mobile phones to PDAs, MP3, MP4 and more. Even transportations have changed and Singapore is home to the world's tallest Ferris Wheel, the Singapore Flyer. Standing three metres above The Star of Nanchang, the current largest wheel.

The Race By Hanif

One fine afternoon, Jake went to the notice board in his school. He saw a racing competition and was interested to join the race.The race track was two-hundred metres.Jake have to run ten rounds around the track. Jake trained hard for this race. He ran around his backyard. He also wore thin clothes like singlet.

“Sorry for this interruption, the two-hundred meter race will begin in two days.’’ Jake was ready for the race but he still will practice. Jake noticed his best friend, Tim, was in the race too. Jake wished him good luck. Tim was trained by his father. His father was quite an athlete.

It was the day of the race begins. Tim and Jake wore track shoes, a thin singlet with numbers, shorts with sporty design and a thick wristband. “Three, two, one and GO!!” shouted the coach. As they begin they sped up. Tim was first while Jake was second and the rest are way behind.

As soon as Jake and Tim went for their last round, they started to slow down, Tim accidentally trip of a small rock and fell. Jake saw him in pain. He may finish the race and win the trophy which is shiny as gold or help Tim up and let the others win. He ran as fast as he can to Tim and helped him up. The others dashed past them quickly. Jake sent Tim to the locker room. Tim appreciates his kindness. “Thanks for bringing me here. If it wasn’t for you I would have laid there for a long time.” Tim said. Jake replied “What are friends for?” After that they went home without bring back a trophy...

An unknown mystery(Satria)

One peaceful afternoon, in a city called Microdot, there was a famous crime solver named Nero. He always solved every crime except for one that had special abilities Nero didn't even know who he was but he did not gave up.

Only one knew who the unknown person and his special abilities and it was the servant's of the unknown person. He knew he could not find the servant but luckily he got the servant's DNA and it was. He found his horror that drag was the servant! He wanted to scream HOW DARE U I WILL KILL U. but he wouldn't want to kill him

When Nero went to bed he still had that horror dream and he dreamt that he shouted, HOW DARE U BECOME THE SERVANT! And then he keeps dreaming about this dream the whole night. Then when it was morning he went to drag's house and asked him the person's name and Drag told him everything and gave him a hand to catch him.

Then after that they went to catch him with a trap when tom was in the trap he teleported out of the then Nero used his stun gun and then tom was caught

Once, there lived a boy named Jason. He was a good and kind little fellow and often told lies. It was in the winter season and it was very cold outside. He lived in a street near by Downtown. Then it was Jason's bedtime and his mum said," Go to sleep and don't forget to brush your teeth."

Jason was brushing his teeth to make them clean and sparkling. Then jump in to bed. Then in the middle of the night, Diinngg.... Donning.... the door's bell rang and only Jason woke up. He quickly went to the door and said, "Who's outsideee...,"said Jason in a light sweet sound. "I am Father Time," said Father Time. Just to check, he looked through the pinhole and it was Father Time. So he quickly open the door at he stared at Father Time. Father Time is a wise old man he is so old that his beard was on the ground, Father Time had a pattern book with him and a great big scythe with him. Father Time said, "I have come to take your pattern behaviour". Jason said, "But I don't have pattern behaviour." "Yes, you do. I can see it. Would you like to see some pattern behaviour that you friends did?" Said Father Time. "Of course I would like to. Can I see the one that my little brother did?" said Jason. "Sure.", said Father Time.

He waived scythe and slowly pattern behaviour appeared. "Wow it is very nice and a little black of naughty behaviours and the white ones I thought they are the good behaviours. Can I see all my friend's pattern behaviours one by one?" said Jason. "It will waste much too of my time but I can show you two or three. Which one would you like to see first?" said Father Time. "How about Jenny's pattern behaviour? She is quite a good person in school." demanded Jason.

Father Time waived his scythe and showed Jenny's patter behaviour. There were many torn pages and it was not very nice. The torn pages ruin her whole pattern behaviour. Jason was shocked to see Jenny's pattern behaviour. He then asked Father Time to show his last year's pattern behaviour. "Hmm.... It looks good," smiled Father Time. "However the black spots ruin it. Do you know what causes them?" said Father Time. "I believe I know what they are,"said Jason looking sad. Jason realised that the black spots were the lies that he told and made a promise to himself that he would stop telling lies from now. "I believe that you can get a better book next year," said Father Time hugging Jason. "Well I have to leave now to get more pattern behaviours from other children. Thank you for letting in to warm up from the freezing cold. Good Bye." said Father Time. He then waived his scythe and disappeared.

The Hilarious Rat (by Nur Syahirah)

Congo Hardbush was a name of a rat which was hilarious. He was kind of cute, game-minded and playful. But most of all is that, he almost made everyone laughed! Telling people jokes were one of his hobbies. Especially he loved to play with his best friend, Rocky Eversprightly. Rocky was a human which has almost the same attitude as Congo! They both were related to each other.

One afternoon after school, Rocky took out Congo without telling anybody that he brought Congo to school and not even his close friend, Douglas. While he was talking to Congo in the school's back yard, he did not realized that the meanest boy in class, Mervin, was watching behind him and was trying to sneak out about what is Rocky trying to do. When Mervin saw that he was talking to a rat, he immediately went to Rocky and punched him at his cheeks. Rocky fell in pain and while doing that he shouted, "Ouch! That really hurts!" Congo interrupted by telling him a joke," Hey, what do you call a person who is fat? The answer is A FATTY BOM! Perfect! Because it is the same like you! Hehe……….". Being too frustrated, Mervin chased after Congo while Rocky tried to stand up. But, when he turned around, the both of them were rushing towards him and CRASH!. Rocky was thrown to the rock climbing wall which was at the other side of the school.

When Congo was merrily running here and there, he suddenly tripped over a rock and hit his face."OUCHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my, what type of name that belonged to a rat which is as clumsy as me? Oh, I know! Clumserat!!! Hehe……"joked Congo himself after being hit by a rock. Without hesitation, he got up and started running again. He felt as if he had freedom in his life. While running, Congo had an idea and quickly hid behind a big, fat and heavy rock. He looked at Mervin who was trying to find him with the look of disappointment on his face. Congo was really delighted as he was safed from that big, fat and mean boy. But not long after, Mervin found Congo hiding behind a rock. He started to chase Congo again. " Ouch!!!" Congo suddenly heard a small voice shouting. When he turned around, he saw that Mervin was in pain as he accidentally tripped over the same rock which Congo tripped on a few moments ago. Blood was bleeding out of his head. It looked so scary. Luckily, a teacher passed by and saw what had happened.

The teacher brought Mervin to the general office and bandaged his head. He would not be going to school for a few weeks as the cut on his head was really bad. " Well, serve you right!" teased Congo as he whispered into Mervin's ear. Rocky Everspightly and Congo Hardbush tapped each other's hand and laughed as they left the general office and headed back home.

Sadness and angriness had written all over Jamie's face.She just received a phone call from Edna's mother, Mdm Shireen.She announced sadly to Jamie that Edna had died in a car accident. Seconds after Mdm Shireen told Jamie, tears began to roll on Jamie's red cheek.Edna and Jamie were inseparable to each other. They called themselves 'Sisterhood' which meant for them that they were like sisters. No one could ever stop their friendship not even their parents.


At around 3 o'clock in the morning,Jamie had a dream. She dreamt that Edna told her to go to her house and enter her room. In the dream, Jamie asked, 'What should I do at your room?'. Edna kept quiet for awhile and answered, 'I want you to open my wardrobe and take a red velvet box. Just take it and don't ask me anymore questions.'. In a second, Edna disappeared into thin air.


Jamie treated the dream as her imagination.She ignored the dream for three days but every night she would experience the same dream. At 11 o'clock at night,when it was time for bedtime for Jamie. She brushed her teeth before going for bed, she saw a figure of a girl with major injuries on her limbs. It looked like Edna! Jamie couldn't breathe as she was shocked. She felt like she wanted to faint but she couldn't. Jamie quickly rinsed her teeth and ran to her bed and covered her head with her blue blanket. She kept saying a lot of prayers.

After ten minutes, Jamie peeked out of the blanket. It was okay then. When Jamie were sleeping, she was awakened by a cold touch on her hand. When she saw the figure of Edna, she covered her head and whispered, 'Please Edna, please don't harm me. I will do anything for you.'.Edna whispered to Jamie with the softest voice that Jamie heard, 'The dream that you dreamt was true. Just follow what I said.

The next day, Jamie went to her house. She said some greetings to Mdm Shireen before entering Edna's room.Jamie told everything about what Edna said.When she was allowed to go in, Jamie opened the door of the wardrobe slowly. When she saw the red velvet box, she opened it. There was a note and some jewelleries. She read the note. 'Thanks for being my best friend. Our friendship will never end even I am not in this world. Do take my jewelleries, my precious friend.' Jamie cried. She was so lucky to have a friend like Edna. She would never forget her forever.
